How do I get a Tech CU Saving Challenge Account?
Grow Your Green is our campaign to help and encourage you to save. What are you saving for this year? Maybe it’s a down payment on a new home, a family vacation, or maybe you just want more green in your wallet? Whatever your savings goal, we want to help you reach it.
By participating in ‘Grow Your Green,’ you get support and guidance that can help you achieve your savings goal. You will also find tips, resources and expert financial advice on how to become a better saver.
And we’ve made it fun! Save $25 per month, and you could win $100 in cash.
To help inspire you, we’re giving away a monthly cash prize of $100 to a Tech CU Saver. All you have to do is commit to saving $25 in your account each month and register a valid email here and you’ll be automatically entered into the drawing.
Beginning in May, we’ll pick one winner during the first week of the month to receive $100 cash! For rules and details, click here.
Winners will be announced on our Money Savvy blog at www.techcublog.com and here on ‘Grow Your Green’ around the 15th of each month, starting May 15th.

Why not share your savings goal and experience in reaching it with others? Not only will it hold you more accountable to your own goals, it may also help someone else to reach theirs. Join our saving community and tell us about your savings goal and how you plan to reach it. Send photos, videos or use Grow Your Green to write posts.
On Tuesday, December 15, 2009, we will pick our 2009 Super Saver with the help of our Grow Your Green community — someone who has been actively saving and participating in the community — and that person will win $1,000 toward their savings goal.
How do I participate?
Sign up to join our Grow Your Green Online Saving Community! Once you sign up, you can start posting your stories, photos or videos about saving. It’s that easy!
If you’re new to blogging or even if you’ve never done it before, don’t worry because it’s as simple as writing a Word document!
You can also use any of the following social media channels to send us updates and we’ll post them here on Grow Your Green.

Post your videos to YouTube and send us the link! Email use your video link to response@techcu.com and we’ll also add them to our YouTube Video Channel.
Facebook.
Become a fan on our Grow Your Green Facebook page and post your updates there. Click here.

Join us on Twitter and tweet us with your status. Click here.
Flickr.

How do I get a Tech CU Savings Challenge Account?
To open a Tech CU Savings Challenge Account, call (800) 553-0880 or visit your nearest Tech CU financial center.
If you’re already a member enrolled in Online Banking, you can easily sign up for a Saving Challenge Account there by clicking on the ‘Apply’ link and choosing Savings Challenge account. Click here.
