China: To go or not to go, that is the question

I’d like to take this once in a life-time trip to China to see a total solar eclipse.  It is sponsored by the Academy of Science, so I believe the trip would be educational as well as fun.  But, in this current economic environment I am really not sure that spending some major money on a 14 day holiday is economically responsible. My vacation savings account helps me to put a litlle bit aside each pay period.  It comes right out of my paycheck before the DD, so I don’t miss it.  Just not sure if I want to spend the money.

The new Academy of Sciences in S.F. is awesome – nearly tweaked my neck at the Planetarium gazing at the projected stars on the ceiling. I heard that solar eclipse in China is going to quite the sight.

Well, one way to stimulate the economy is to spend a little!
Do you have a date in mind when you want to go on vacation? I know that I had a few friends that traveled to China in which it was a package…so food, hotels and visits to tourist attractions were already included. They stated that the price was reasonable. The only thing I might have a problem with is that there is a schedule you follow.

I think you should go for it! Save for your trip to China!

I know that my travels to Europe and Asia were life–changing and helped to bring me to the place I am today as a person and professional. So, I would say to anyone saving for a trip for such a rich experience, “Go for it!!” And as you’re saving ahead of time, it all makes sense, right!
